Psychedelics & Pain Network (PPN)

Are you a researcher, clinician, facilitator, or patient advocate working with psychedelics for pain?

A connected network of researchers, HCPs, facilitators, patient advocates, companies and funders who are leaders in the rapidly growing field of researching and utilizing psychedelic medicines for the treatment of chronic pain and inflammatory conditions. Through collaboration we expedite our collective scientific progress, accelerate access to therapies that reduce pain, and reach a greater population of people who need help.

Psychedelic Science 2025: Expanding the Lens – Mechanisms, Models & Modes

June 16-20th, Denver, CO

Exploring the Transdiagnostic Potential of Psychedelic Medicines. Join us at Psychedelic Science 2025 as we present the panel “Expanding the Lens: Mechanisms, Models & Modes,” this session dives into the remarkable transdiagnostic potential of psychedelics—extending far beyond traditional psychiatric applications. Featuring expert voices in neuroscience, neurology, and applied physiology, we’ll examine how psychedelics may catalyze enduring neural reorganization across a broad range of conditions—including PTSD, MDD, anorexia, cluster headache, migraine, long COVID, and phantom-limb pain. From models of rapid neuroplasticity to cortical reprioritization and reflexive learning, this panel explores where current theories converge, where they differ, and what they suggest for the future of treatment innovation.

Panelists include: Dr. Charles Nichols – Researcher of structural neuroplasticity & anti-inflammatory properties of psychedelics. Dr. Manesh Girn – UCSF neuroscientist examining predictive processing & strong priors in psychedelic therapy, Dr. Steven Zeiler – Johns Hopkins neurologist pioneering stroke recovery studies with psilocybin. Moderated by Court Wing – REMAP Therapeutics co-founder and chronic pain remission case study.
